Anais Melikyan

EVS Coordinator

After volunteering as an EVS in Poland for 11 months, Anais decided to not end the journey there and continue with youth work at her Sending Organization: ICIRLD. She joined the team in 2013, as an Intern, and took part in “Youth in Action” projects organized by ICIRLD, assisted in realizing local events, prepared reports and other office related tasks. Currently she is in charge of the EVS department dealing with both sending and hosting EVS projects. Regular EVS meetings and pre-departure trainings are also carried out at the office. Using her own experience and enthusiasm, Anais is continuing the promotion of EVS in Armenia and abroad.

Oliver Wiechmann

International project coordinator and trainer

Oliver has a scientific background in sociology and educational science and has been active in the NGO field since several years, e.g. being a 'trainer for trainer' for IJGD and a former president of a local branch of the European Student Network AEGEE. Within ICIRLD he is mainly responsible for the development and coordination of the international projects, as well as working as a trainer and facilitator during those events.

Anna Yeghoyan

Project Assistant

Anna joined ICIRLD team in 2012 to support implementation of CAUCULT Caucasus Cultural Initiatives Network in Armenia. Among Anna’s main responsibilities is contact with partner NGOs from other regions, coordination of implementation of Community Art Events, support in developing Cultural Policy Recommendations and the overall coordination of the project. Her experience in the NGO field started with the European Movement in Armenia where she was coordinating implementation of different projects aiming at promotion of policy changes and social diplomacy.

Laura Poghosyan

Project assistant

Laura has graduated from Russian-Armenian (Slavonic) State University, Department of Psychology in 2012 (M.A). During her study and afterwards Laura was working in a number of projects dealing with disabled people, children and youth.

Her experience in the NGO field started in 2012 when she got involved in the activities of both local and international organizations. After her return from an EVS project in Lithuania, Laura joined the ICIRLD team and is helping in the organization’s activities, such as youth work, EVS department as well as project development and facilitation.
