Kasia Kowalska

EVS volunteer

EVS volunteer from Poland. Graduated from University of Wroclaw (MA in political science) in 2011 and since then has been working in the field of non-formal education and social work both on the national and international level. She was cooperating with several NGOs on projects aiming at empowering young people in post-communist countries (Romania, Kyrgyzstan). In Poland she used to work as a project coordinator for the organization conducting educational programs for blind and visually impaired people.
Since March 2014 she has been working as a volunteer at ICIRLD, where she is helping with international youth projects.

Zofia Bałdyga

EVS volunteer

Zofia is currently an EVS volunteer in the ICIRLD office in Yerevan. She mostly works with Erasmus + projects. Zofia obtained her MA in Slavic Culture Studies at the University of Warsaw, including exchange studies at the Masaryk University in Brno and Charles University in Prague. She is especially interested in migration, migrant integration and multiculturalism. She worked with asylum-seekers and third country nationals in Poland, the Netherlands and Czech Republic. Prior to her experience at ICIRLD, she worked as a Circular Labor Migration Expert in International Center for Human Development in Yerevan. She was also granted an International Fellowship at CRRC Armenia. Besides her NGO work, she is a freelance translator.

Lusine Margaryan

Volunteer

Since 2010 I have been involved in Non-Profit organization's local and international activities. I participated in Leadership courses "World of Light" NGO. Then I volunteered for 3 seasons in "Habitat for Humanity" in Armenia mainly participating in house repairing activities for people with fewer opportunities. Since 2011 I am volunteering in ICIRLD NGO, taking part in local and international projects connected with different  issues. ICIRLD was my Sending organization for 8 months long EVS in YMCA Baia Mare (Romania) and there we worked with Roma, Romanian kids, teenagers. We were teaching English by non formal education methods, organizing events, workshops. Time to time I am also taking part in activities by other local NGO-s (YIC, SYC, FYCA).  In ICIRLD I am involved mainly in activities connected to EVS.

Anahit Avagyan

Volunteer

Anahit has graduated from Cultural Anthropology Department of Yerevan State University. She has an experience of 3 years in the hospitality industry, working as an English speaking tour guide in RA and NKR. She has been interacting with ICIRLD since 2007, starting as a participant of an international project and gradually increasing the interest towards NGO and youth work. Currently, she is assisting in the development and coordination of different regional and international projects, as well as helping with translations and editing. She is also an EVS mentor.
